A polished setup is curated, not cluttered. No gimmicks. No filler. Just the right routing method for the room, the equipment, and the level of permanence you want.
Start With the Cable Route, Not the Cable Cover
Before buying raceways or cutting into drywall, stand in the room and trace the full path from your source devices to the projector. In many home theaters, the projector receives an HDMI cable from an AV receiver or media console near the front wall. In gaming rooms, the signal may come from a PC, console, or switcher. The shortest route is not always the cleanest or safest one.
A ceiling-mounted projector usually creates three cable needs: video, power, and sometimes control or network. The video cable often follows the ceiling line from the projector to the wall above the equipment rack. Power should follow a separate, code-appropriate route.
